This home belongs to Martha who is presently 95 years old. Martha designed the home herself and had it built (1970-71) to replace her home that tragically was lost in a fire.  No-one was hurt in the fire but the house was a complete loss. Her daughter, Terri, commissioned me to sculpt it as a surprise birthday gift for her. Over the years I have had many people commission me to do gifts for loved ones. I really like those commissions and I think I derive great satisfaction in knowing it is a gift for someone.
